(Day 66)
in Romania
Today, a new chapter of our journey has started. We actually did manage to sell Peggy to the Captain of the Bucharest Salvation Army. On Monday we finalised all the paperwork, did the money transaction and waved a final good-bye to our mode of transportation for the last two months.
Today, we left Bucharest and went to the closeby town of Sinaia, in the Carpate mountains to the North. And we did it by taking a train.
Everything worth of keeping, but not of taking it with us has been packed in a neat little package and sent back to Germany. What is left is just our two backpacks (plus a little Hipsterbag, you know, for food and stuff).
Bucharest has been very good to us (there will be another post about it), and we had the pleasure of meeting many interesting people in our hostel. What came with the stories of fellow travellers where ideas where to go and what to do next. So, to test out our new mode of transportation, we will take the night train on Friday and travel to Chisinau, Moldova. Very much looking forward it.
