It's been quite quiet here on the blog in the past weeks. Sorry for that! Family kin sucked me in. It's been a wonderful month together with Mani, Zen, Caspi and Jamila in the Blue Mountains. What a luxury for me to have so much time with my sister and family. The last time we had this much time together is roughly 15 years ago. It's been awesome to share a daily life, to spend hours playing with the kids, to get to know what's important to them right now, what they think is funny or gross, exciting or dull, yummy or yucky. It's been awesome to have or listen to passionate discussions about almost any controversial topic I could think of with Zen. It's been awesome to share current thoughts, experiences and feelings with Mani and to connect with her and the whole family more than has ever been possible via Skype in the past years. Thank you Mani and family once again for the joint month! For cooking and baking together, for gardening and hiking, running and biking, for going to the movies, to an outdoor concert, to the pool and to hippie camps together. Special thanks to Caspi for letting us stay in your room for the whole time of our stay. After travelling for 11 months, we embraced the family time and even started to grow roots in your home a little :). But for now we are back on track. Back to travelling. With Kacey-Eric, our new vehicle and home for the next month.
